I’m a technical writer & editor by professional career and a poet by passion, but in both realms, I blend my technical and artistic sides to create accessible writing that helps and inspires others.
I have five years’ professional experience at online education technology companies, including Google, Pluralsight (previously A Cloud Guru), and The Institutes, working as a technical writer & editor, and learning content coordinator. I currently hold the professional certificates: Google UX Design (2023), Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (2021), and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (2021), and I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Millersville University with a Bachelor's degree in English Writing Studies. I'm passionate about how technical writing can democratize complex topics, and how editing can make a piece more engaging.
My poetry journey began in college when I wrote a 25-poem collection for my thesis project—the first person in the English department to pass my thesis without needing revisions. Since then, my poems have been published in Anodyne Magazine, The Listening Eye, and The Closed Eye Open, among others, and I received honorable mention in the 2024 Dreamers Creative Writing haiku contest.
My poetry gives me a creative perspective, allowing me to problem-solve by thinking outside the box, while my technical writing & editing helps me to craft content understood by wider audiences.
I’m currently based in Fort Collins, CO, with my partner and cat. When I’m not writing or editing, you can find me on a nature walk, practicing restorative yoga, reading with a cup of peppermint tea, or traveling.
